COVID-19: Anambra Church to begin service on WhatsApp

While most church buildings in Anambra State on Sunday held regular Sunday providers and much, regardless of warnings in opposition to the convergence of a giant gathering by the federal authorities, as a means of beating the coronavirus illness, Rmema Deliverance Mission has stated that service might onwards be held on the social media platform, WhatsApp.

DAILY POST reporter, who visited the church in Awka, Anambra State stories that regardless that the church was full to capability on account of a three-day campaign, which held within the church, the pastor, Dr Amaechi Nwachukwu stated if the virus continues, the church might have to resort to holding worship on WhatsApp.

Dr Amaechi stated, “We might have to open a WhatsApp group for this church as a result of if what is occurring on the earth persists, we might have to cease holding church providers. With the WhatsApp, we may be holding providers and speaking with one another with out assembly bodily.

“We urge you to drop your home addresses too, so that if we have to cut down on large gatherings, then I as the pastor can be visiting members at home to pray for them and also share the gospel.”
