Former Adamawa commissioner docked over N379m fraud




The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a former Commissioner in Adamawa State, Sanda Lamurde, earlier than a state excessive courtroom in Yola over a N379 million fraud.

Sanda Lamurde who was Commissioner of Finance when Bala Ngilari was state governor (October 2014 to May 2015), allegedly misappropriated the funds in his care on the time as Chairman, Committee on Internally Displaced Persons Welfare.
