Kumuyi becomes party leader – Daily Post Nigeria

A former Chief Decide of Ondo State, Hon. Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi has been elected as a leader of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP.

Kumuyi who served because the state Chief Decide in the course of the tenure of former Governor, Olusegun Mimiko was elected because the leader of the party within the northern senatorial district of Ondo State by delegates on the party’s senatorial district assembly held in Ogbagi-Akoko, Akoko North West native authorities space of the state.

After retiring from lively service in 2017, Kumuyi delved into partisan politics when he pitched tent with Mimiko’s political construction within the state.

One of many delegates, a former Commissioner for Pure Assets in Ondo State, Tunde Atere stated the “assembly reviewed, with satisfaction, actions of the party in northern senatorial district as led by Kumuyi.

“He is a trusted and dependable leader with the capacity to lead our party in the northern senatorial district,” Barrister Tunde Atere defined as he nominated the previous Chief Decide.

Reacting, Kumuyi stated the party will proceed to uphold the ideas of social democracy as demonstrated by its nationwide leader, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, throughout his tenure as governor of Ondo state.

He additionally requested party trustworthy to assist and cooperate with him in his new project.
