Kwara Gov orders suspension of top civil servants over extortion of farmers

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has directed the rapid suspension of all officers named in alleged extortion of farmers within the state’s ministry of agriculture by means of the sale of unauthorised registration types.

Media spokesman to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, mentioned in an announcement on Wednesday that the federal government at no time accepted the sale of any types to register farmers and that the administration discovered it unusual that some officers may ever do such a factor to poor farmers.
