Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, General Shuaibu Ibrahim, has permitted all corps members to journey to their properties, a brand new report by Sahara Reporters has revealed.

 

The determination was made public in a memo to all Area Coordinators signed by Sanusi A.R on behalf of the NYSC DG.

 

He acknowledged that corps members keen to journey to their numerous properties needs to be allowed to go.

 

The determination, in response to the DG, was approaching the heels of the closure of all colleges within the nation because of the outbreak of Coronavirus within the nation.

In a memo to all Area Coordinators signed by Sanusi A.R on behalf of the NYSC DG, he acknowledged that corps members keen to journey to their numerous properties needs to be allowed to go.

“I’m directed to request all state coordinators to grant permission to corps members keen to journey, particularly these within the educating or allied professions.

“For the period it will last, corps members should be advised to adopt all preventive tips provided by the federal health authorities including high level of hygiene and refrain from any unwholesome act that may put them at risk,” the DG stated.

 

He ordered all coordinators to tell corps members concerning the determination and guarantee compliance.
