An attraction filed by Slok Nigeria Limited difficult the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court, Lagos which convicted former Abia State governor, Orji Uzor-Kalu has been dismissed by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.
Kalu, Jones Udeogo, a former Director of Finance in Abia State; have been convicted on December four of a 7.1 billion naira fraud.
While Kalu acquired 12 years imprisonment, Udeogo was sentenced to 10 years in jail.
That was in a legal cost most popular in opposition to them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission earlier than Justice Mohammed Liman. The duo have been convicted for defrauding the Government of Abia State when Uzor-Kalu was governor for eight years utilizing Slok Nigeria Limited.
