SIP dismisses four facilitators over alleged fraud

Social Funding programme has dismissed four facilitators of conditional money switch over allegation of fraud in Jigawa state.

State money switch coordinator; Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar Raba-Kaya disclosed this at a gathering with current and former coordinators of native governments held at Sir, Ahmadu Bello Corridor new secretariat, Dutse. He mentioned the affected officers had been from four completely different native authorities councils.

He defined that the affected officers had been disengaged following irregularities and monetary mismanagement of their respective locations of project.

Rabakaya mentioned the dismissed officers embody: Bagana Muhammad – Money Switch facilitator for Margadu ward in Guri native authorities, Muktahu Sawwanu- Roni native authorities, Idris Ahmad-Sabon-garin `ya`ya Taura native authorities in addition to Yusuf Muhammad and Hamza Idris Aliyu Gatafa ward in Auyo native authorities.

He warned that the programme is not going to hesitate to take drastic motion on any of its workers discovered wanting within the discharge of his project.

State coordinator, Social Funding Programme, SIP Alhaji Bala Usman Chamo mentioned over 5 billion Naira had been disbursed to the beneficiaries because the inception of the programme in Jigawa State.
